Gas Tax Comes Off #nltraffic

Gas has taken another slide this morning as another portion of the provincial gas tax comes off.

The cost is down 4.4 cents effective today in Newfoundland and central Labrador has resulted in lower prices at the pumps, although it may not be as much as some might have hoped.

Elsewhere the cost is down 4.6 cents in western Labrador and 2.7 cents along the coast.

In the 2016 budget there was a gas tax of 16.5 cents.
