Restaurant Burns Down in Port Saunders

A family run restaurant in Port Saunders has burned down.

The Fisherman’s Dock Restaurant, a popular spot with tourists, caught on fire early this morning.

Once the Port Saunders Volunteer Fire Department arrived the building was already engulfed according to the RCMP.

There was strong winds at the time.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and there were no injuries.

A resident said that the owners were out of town at the time.
