Woman Arrested After Stabbing in Carbonear

RCMP have arrested and charged a 31-year-old woman after a stabbing incident in Carbonear.

The woman will remain in custody until a bail hearing next week.

Police were called to a call of a person stabbed early on Friday morning.

The accused is facing charges of assault with a weapon, uttering threats and break and enter.

A 23-year-old man, the victim of the attack was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say that both parties were known to each-other.
