Basement Fire in Gander

A house fire in Gander on Monday afternoon was put out quickly by the Gander Fire Department.

Shortly after 1:00 pm a fire broke out on Byrd Avenue.

At the time of the fire there was no one inside.

Most of the damage was confined to the basement.

There were no injuries.
