Two Accidents in Corner Brook on Friday Evening #nltraffic
There were two accidents in Corner Brook around suppertime last evening.
At 5:15 p.m. police and paramedics responded to a vehicle-pedestrian collision on St. Mark’s Avenue.
A vehicle had stuck a 15 year old female pedestrian.
The female was taken to Western Memorial Regional Hospital for what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
The matter remains under investigation.
At 6:25 p.m. RNC received a report a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Maple Valley Road and Lewin Parkway.
One vehicle sustained moderate damages while the second vehicle sustained extensive damages and was towed from the scene.
As a result of an investigation, a 78 year old female was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Fail to Stop at a Stop Sign.
She was issued a Summary Offence Ticket for the incident.
