Two Impaired Drivers Taken off the Roads #nltraffic


RNC were kept busy by impaired drivers last night in the Capital City Region.

The first happened at 11:50 pm when police responded to a complaint of impaired driver in the east end of the city of St. John’s.

A 50 year old female driver was charged with impaired driving and failing the Breathalyzer.

The driver was issued driver license suspension and her vehicle was also impounded.

She was released to appear in court at a later date.

Then at 12:40 am Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Town of Paradise.

A 27 year old male was charged with impaired driving, refusing to provide a breath sample and obstructing a peace officer.

He was issued a driver’s license suspension, his vehicle was impounded and he was taken to St. John’s City Lock-up to appear in Court in this morning.
