Break and Enter in Corner Brook While Homeowner is Inside

Police responded to a report of a Break and Enter in progress in Corner Brook last night just after 2:00 am.

A female was at home inside her residence when a male forced his way in and caused substantial damage to the property inside.

When police arrived the suspect had left the area.

Shortly afterwards the male was located at a residence a short distance away and was arrested.

As a result of the investigation, a 29 year old male resident of Corner Brook was charged with Break and Enter, Mischief to property and a breach of a court order.

He was held for a court appearance later today.
