Impaired Driver Steals Vehicle, Causes Accident, Flees From Police #nltraffic

Around 2:30 am the RNC responded to a possible Impaired Driver that was being followed by a member of the public in the Manuals area of CBS. Police located the vehicle a short time later however the driver refused to stop for Police.
A pursuit was initiated but then called off in the Foxtrap area, in the interest of public safety.
A short time later in Kelligrews Police came across a two vehicle collision involving the same vehicle which had refused to stop for Police. As a result of the Collision a 20 year old male was arrested and is being charged with three counts of Dangerous Driving causing bodily harm, theft of a motor vehicle, Flight from Police and several breaches of Court orders.
The male suspect was conveyed to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries and will be held for Court. The passengers in the struck vehicle all received non-life threatening injuries. The Investigation is continuing into impaired driving related offences.
