Protesters Meet Parsons in Labrador #nlpoli

Justice Minister Andrew Parsons was met by protesters in the Labrador during a Justice Summit. The encounter was peaceful.

Members of the Labrador Land Protectors, including Denise Cole and former hunger striker Billy Gauthier, voiced their concerns regarding the recent incarceration of Bernice Hunter among others.

The minister also faced backlash regarding his decision to send hundreds of RCMP officers to protect the Muskrat Falls project.
