Boil Water Advisory for Torbay

Residents of the Town of Torbay are advised that a Boil Water Advisory is in place.

The boil water advisory has been put in place due to a malfunction of the Town’s water chlorination system. With under-chlorinated water, there is a potential for illness and disease causing microbes to be present in the water supply.

All residents on the municipal water system will need to boil water used for;

• drinking

• brushing teeth

• making ice

• cooking

• washing fruit/vegetables

• making coffee/tea/hot drinks
