Fire at Eastern Health Laundry Facility

St. John’s Regional Fire Department responded to a fire at the Central Laundry Facility operated by Eastern Health.

The fire broke out yesterday evening.

Brian Tucker, the Platoon Chief says the fire started in some torched-on roofing.

There was some minor damage.

The road in the area was closed for a brief time.
