Changes Coming to Marble Mountain

There will be some new changes at Marble Mountain for the 2018 ski season.

The changes are intended to increase participation, bring ticket prices on par with other Atlantic Canadian ski resorts and offer more events at the hill.

The changes come as a result of feedback from users of Marble Mountain and a survey undertaken by the new board of directors.

Both early bird and regular season pass prices have been reduced for the 2018 season. Beginning on Sunday, October 1, Marble Mountain skiers will be able purchase early bird season passes and save $100 off the price of a regular season pass.

Night skiing will start on January 19, 2018, running from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday night skiing will begin on March 3, 2018.

At the Cookhouse and the Knotty Pine Lounge, new cafeteria and bar menus with more affordable options will be introduced. There will be gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options.

Marble Mountain is bringing back some old events such as the Downhill Dummy Race and will be introducing new events such as the Marble Mountain Loose Moose Festival, charity events and more. Some non-skiing and snowboarding events will be added, such as fat bike races and a snow shoe soccer tournament.

The tentative opening date for Marble Mountain is January 1, 2018, if weather and snow conditions permit.
