Water Outage and Boil Advisory on October 2nd for City of Corner Brook

The City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and businesses that a water outage and precautionary boil water advisory has been scheduled for Monday, October 2nd, 2017, commencing at 8:30 a.m. The outage is expected to last for approximately 10-12 hours. This is necessary to make Capital Works improvements to the water distribution and wastewater collection systems.

Areas to be affected are as follows:

– Raymond Heights #’s 2 to 44

– Viking Place

– West Valley Road #’s 122 to 141

Due to the time required for testing to confirm water quality in the systems, the boil water advisory is expected to remain in effect until further notice. You will be advised when the boil water advisory has been lifted. Residents can call the City of Corner Brook’s Water Information Line at 634-7711 or visit the City’s official website, www.cornerbrook.com, at any time to view precautionary boil water advisories, water outages or road closures.
