Parsons to Participate in Dog Therapy Program at HMP

Andrew Parsons, Minister of Justice and Public Safety and Attorney General, will visit with inmates during the St. John Ambulance Dog Therapy Program at Her Majesty’s Penitentiary today at 2:00 p.m..

The St. John Ambulance’s Therapy Dog Program was introduced at Her Majesty’s Penitentiary in April 2017 and now has regularly scheduled monthly visitations.

The program provides immediate and uplifting benefits to those suffering from any number of physical and/or mental health issues.
