RCMP cracking down on on speeding.
Speeding has become a problem recently on the provinces highway. On route 75 over 28 speeding tickets have been issued within a four hour period, 8 of those tickets were for other violations including use of cell phone while driving.
Due to the recent accidents over the course of the past few months the RCMP are saying that speeding has become a major problem. RCMP are advising everyone to slow down, buckle up, and dont drink and drive nor use a cell phone while driving.
RCMP have set up speed detectors along the routes today to try to curb the aggressive driving that has claimed the lives of more then a dozen individuals over the past month.
Dangerous driving is happening all the time and RCMP are encouraging people to drive responsibly.
