RNC Stop Vehicle For Open Door, Arrest Driver #nltraffic

At 3:45 pm yesterday RNC officers conducted a traffic stop on Topsail Road in St. John’s.

The reason for the stop was to advise the driver that the passenger side door was ajar.

When police spoke with the 32 year old female driver, it was determined she had no driver’s license, failed to transfer ownership of the vehicle and did not have insurance on the vehicle.

Further investigation revealed the woman also had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.

The woman was held to attend Court and her vehicle impounded.
