#CornerBrook Councillor Breaks Election Rule

A candidate in the upcoming municipal election in Corner Brook has broken an election rule.

Corner Brook city Councillor Tony Buckle built benches and placed his signs on the benches and placed the benches around town on public property.

This is a violation of municipal election sign guidelines.

No sign of advertisement is permitted to be located on City sidewalks, right-of-ways or properties.

The director of protective services, Todd Flynn asked Buckle to move the benches.
