Judy Foote Leaving Politics #CDNpoli

Public Services and Procurement Minister Judy Foote will make an announcement today that she is officially leaving cabinet.

Additionally she is expected to resign as the Member of Parliament later this year.

Foote took a leave of absence earlier this year for personal and family reasons.

She told political supporters and close associates of her decision on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Trudeau will have to shuffle his cabinet.

Natural Resources Minister Jim Carr has been handling Foote's cabinet duties.
