Dr. Patrick O’Flaherty Identified as Victim of Swimming Accident

Patrick O’Flaherty, a well-known writer and historian, has been identified as the man reported missing following a swimming accident.

The accident happened on the Bonavista Peninsula earlier this week.

The RCMP’s Underwater Recovery Team is back at the scene today and are trying to locate the 78-year-old.
