Bridge Still Damaged in Ferryland

A bridge that connects to the Freshwater area of Ferryland is still not safe to travel over.

The bridge was washed out a couple of weeks ago.

Ferryland Mayor Adrian Kavanagh says work is underway to secure emergency funding to replace the bridge.

If the bridge were to wash out altogether, an area of town would be completely cut off.
