No Need for Speed, RNC in Corner Brook Stop Dangerous Driver #nltraffic

The RNC has charged yet another reckless driver.

On July 6, 2017 at 12:16 a.m. police stopped a vehicle on the Trans-Canada Highway near the Corner Brook/Massey Drive exit for speeding at a speed of 161 km/h.

The 55 year old male driver, a resident from the Bay of Islands, was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Imprudent Driving and Speeding in excess of 31 km/h over the posted speed limit.

He was issued Summary Offence Tickets for the incident.
