Public Help Remove Several Drunk Drivers #nltraffic
The RNC are crediting the public in helping remove several impaired drivers from our roadways.
At 11:58 am RNC patrol officers responded to a call from a concerned citizen that an impaired driver was operating on the Trans-Canada Highway heading into St. John’s. Officers located and stopped the vehicle resulting in the charging of a 45 year old male with impaired driving and failing the breathalyzer. He will appear in court at a later date.
Finally at 10:50 pm RNC Patrol Services responded to a report of a possible impaired driving in the east end of St.John’s.As a result of the complaint, police located the vehicle and 40 year old male driver was arrested for Impaired driving and failing the Breathalyzer.Male driver was also charged with driving while disqualified and breach of court orders. Male was conveyed to lockup and held for court in the am.
At 1:00 am this morning patrol services responded to a report of a possible impaired driving in the Downtown area of St. John’s. Police arrived on-scene shortly after receiving the complaint and located the vehicle in a parking lot. As a result of the police investigation the 41 year old male was arrested with impaired driving and failing the Breathalyzer. He was released to appear in Court at a later date.
