Theft at a St. John's Pharmacy

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a report of a theft at a pharmacy in the center city area of St. John's.
The staff reported a male entered the store, concealed several times of merchandise and fled the area on foot.
After a brief investigation police identified the male and discovered he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was on a court order.
Police located the 31 year old male shortly after the incident and charged the male the theft under $5000 and breach of probation.
He was held at the lock up for court in the morning.
