Three More Bad Drivers Removed from the Road #nltraffic
Police were kept busy in the metro region last night.
RNC Patrol Officers conducted a Traffic Safety stop in the center city. As a result a 52 year old male has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act for driving without a valid insurance policy, driving without the proper class of license, failure to transfer ownership, expired registration, and having a false sticker attached to his plate. The vehicle was impounded and the driver released.
Later police conducted a Traffic Safety Stop in the Downtown area. As a result a 24 year old female has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Impaired operation over 80mg% under the Criminal Code of Canada. She was released to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charges.
At 5:10 am this morning following a tip from an off duty RNC Officer, Patrol officers conducted a traffic stop in the center of the city. As a result a 29 year old male has been charged with impaired operation of a Motor Vehicle, Refusal, Assaulting a Peace officer, Resisting Arrest, Causing a Disturbance and multiple breaches of Court orders under the Criminal Code of Canada. The male is currently being held for court.
