Through a total Provincial Government investment of $200,000, the Consumers Health Awareness Network Newfoundland and Labrador (CHANNAL) and the Canadian Mental Health Association - Newfoundland and Labrador (CMHA-NL) will receive support for important outreach and educational work.

CHANNAL will receive $105,000 to continue the peer-led Warm Line. The Warm Line is a non-emergency, non-crisis telephone support and referral service. People with lived experience receive training in peer support and operate the service.

The CMHA-NL will receive $95,000 to support public mental health education programs, including for an education facilitator to offer its Think Twice Program. The Think Twice Program is an anti-stigma education initiative for youth in the province delivered primarily in school settings.
