RNC Lab West Arrest Two Impaired Drivers #nltraffic


The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, Labrador West Region arrested two impaired drivers. On Monday, June 5, 2017 at approximately 2:25 pm, officers with RNC Patrol Services in Labrador West responded to a disturbance in Labrador City. As a result of the investigation, a 27 year old male resident of Labrador City was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving and Operation of a Motor Vehicle with Blood – Alcohol Concentration in excess .80mg%. He was released from custody and will appear in Provincial Court in Corner Brook at a later date. Also on Monday, June 5, 2017 at approximately 5:25 pm, officers with RNC Patrol Services in Labrador West responded to a possible impaired driver in Labrador City. The vehicle was located by Patrol Services a short time later. As a result of the investigation, an 80 year old male resident of Labrador City was issued a seven day suspension.
