Corner Brook Closes Road for Three Weeks #nltraffic

The City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and businesses that a road closure and stairway closure has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 31st, 2017 commencing at 8:00 a.m..

This closure is expected to last for approximately 3 weeks. This is necessary to make Capital Works improvements to the wastewater distribution system.

Areas to be affected are as follows:

• Cobb Lane – access off West Valley Road will be closed

• Cobb Lane will become two-lane traffic and can be accessed from Elswick Road

• Access to the Glynmill Inn Hotel will be through a temporary entrance at the intersection of Park Street and Central Street

• The Corner Brook Trails stairway leading to Glynmill Inn Pond via Cobb Lane will be closed during this time due to deep excavation adjacent to the worksite

• The general motoring public is advised to use alternate routes.
