Police Arrest Jewel Thieves

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Corner Brook Region has arrested and charged three males in relation to a theft of jewelry from a business in Corner Brook.

On Thursday, May 11, 2017 members from RNC Patrol Services responded to a report of a theft from a business in the Broadway area of Corner Brook. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that at approximately 11:00 am on Thursday, May 11, 2017 three males entered the business and took a quantity of jewelry before exiting the business.

During the investigation, information was received from the public. As a result, on Saturday, May 13, 2017 with the assistance of the RCMP, two 22 year old male residents of Ontario and a 16 male year old male resident of Quebec were arrested and charged with theft over $5000. The male subjects are being held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
