Hydro Rates Going up 9%

NL Hydro electricity rates will be going up by 9 percent as of July 1, 2017.

The Public Utilities Board approved the increase on Friday evening.

The increase is part of the Rate Stabilization Plan.

Hydro says the reason is due to fluctuations in the price of oil.
