Drunk Man Knocks on Doors

Police responded to a residence in in the West end of St. John’s Sunday evening regarding a complaint of an intoxicated male knocking on residential doors.

A 60 year old male was detained under the Detention of an Intoxicated Persons Act.

While being transported to the City Lock-Up to be held until sober, the male uttered death threats to the transporting Officer. As a result, the male was charged with Uttering Threats To Cause Death Or Bodily Harm.

The male was held for Court this morning.
