Impaired Driver at Waterford Hospital #nltraffic

Police were called to the Waterford Hospital in St John’s yesterday afternoon after staff reported a possible impaired driver.

Staff observed a female enter the hospital after parking her vehicle on the rear lot and it was noticed that she appeared under the influence of alcohol.

As a result of the follow up investigation in conjunction with the results of a breath sample, a 28 year old female was charges with impaired driving and failing the breathalyzer.

She was released to appear in court at a later date.
