Today is Federal Budget Day #cdnpoli

Federal Finance Minister Bill Morneau will present the federal budget today.This budget is expected to be less extravagant then their first one.

Morneau has said that, “Our budget will be very much about trying to increase jobs in this country, to create opportunities for people today, for their children and for their grandchildren.”

The overall deficit at around $25-billion for the next few years.

The Canadian federal budget for fiscal year 2016-2017 was presented to the Canadian House of Commons by Finance Minister Bill Morneau on 22 March 2016. The deficit was projected to be $29.4 billion for the fiscal year 2016-2017. The budget also forecast that the deficit would shrink to $14.3 billion four years later.
