RNC Looking for Witnesses to Collision on Pitts Memorial Drive #nltraffic
The RNC is seeking witnesses to a collision which occurred on Pitts Memorial Drive on Monday.
At approximately 10:30 am the RNC responded to a report of a collision on Pitts Memorial Drive near the exit ramp to the eastbound Trans-Canada Highway.
Officers determined that a two-door red Honda Civic, which was travelling westbound, had been involved in a single vehicle rollover. The male driver of the vehicle and a female passenger were both transported to hospital as a result of their injuries. The male has since been released; however the female remains in hospital with serious injuries. The male and female are residents of Conception Bay South and Mt. Pearl respectively and are both 21 years old.
The RNC Accident Investigation Section is continuing to investigate this incident and is asking anyone who witnessed the red Honda Civic in the area of the collision or the collision itself to call the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
