Wet and Windy Monday & Tuesday #nlwx

An area of low pressure that will be just south of the Maritime provinces on Sunday will push into Newfoundland on Monday.
Precipitation will begin along the south coast as snow early on Monday morning.
The Avalon will see snow changing to rain with a risk of freezing rain along with strong wind.
Along the south coast snow will change to rain with the risk of ice pellets. There will also be some gusty winds.
Central Newfoundland will see snow and rain. Wind wont be an issue.
Western Newfoundland also won't see much in the way of precipitation with some light snow and rain expected along with moderate wind.
The Northern Peninsula will see rain and gusty wind.
In Labrador snow will continue through Wednesday. Some areas will also see very strong wind.
