Man seriously injured following assault

Shortly after Midnight this morning RNC Patrol Services responded to the Empire Avenue area to a report of an assault.

On arrival, officers with the assistance of K-9 located a 35 year old male with serious injuries.

The male was transported to hospital where he remains at this time.

The RNC’s Major Crime Unit are currently investigating the matter and are asking if anyone witnessed the incident or has any information in relation to the incident, to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers.
