Second day of Traffic Enforcement on TCH #nltraffic

RCMP Traffic Services and members from the Holyrood Detachment took down several drivers to violations.

Police conducted Lidar (laser radar) enforcement near Ocean Pond. Weather conditions were overcast with occasional light flurries.

Police had one member monitoring the Lidar while four members in marked police cars dealt with violators.

There were times that four members could not keep up with the number of violations.

Over the course of approximately four hours (2.5 hours in the am and 1.5 hours in the pm), the RCMP charged twenty five violators.

Police dealt with some vehicle targets moving above 150 km/h.

Police also were able to seize a radar detector.
