Day Five of the Corner Brook Carnival


Here are the events scheduled for the Corner Brook Winter Carnival today.

8:00 am to 10 am Breakfast at the Legion Royal Canadian Legion, 7 West Street. Breakfast includes: Eggs, ham and sausage, pancakes, toast, tea, coffee or juice. Cost $8.00 with button, $8.50 without button, $5.00 for children under 12.

11:30 am to 1:30 pm Soup Luncheon St. Michael's Church Hall, Park Drive. Cost $7.00 per person. Come enjoy a hearty bowl of soup, roll/crackers & dessert. Sponsored by: St. Michael's ACW.

4:30 pm to 7:00 pm Meat Ball Carnival Dinner

4:30 pm to 5 pm (Take out) - 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

(Eat In) Oakland United Church, Forestside Street. Cost $10.00 per person. Children under 12 $5.00. Meat Ball Dinner with rice and vegetables, accompanied by assorted desserts. Everyone Welcome. Enjoy your Carnival 2016. Sponsored by Oakland United Church Women.

4:00 to 4:45 pm

(Take Out) 5:00 to 6:00 pm (Eat In) Long Range Shrine Club Seal Flipper Dinner Traditional Flipper Dinner served with assorted vegetables, coffee or tea and dessert. Cost $20.00 per person. 5 pm to 6 pm Stuffed Chicken Breast Supper St Mary's Church Hall, 456 Curling Street. 5 pm (Take Out) 6 pm (Eat In). Cost is $12.00 per plate. Stuffed Chicken Breast, Dessert, and Tea/Coffee. Contact Hilda Galliott 785-5995 or Derrick Lewis 785-5001. Sponsored by: St. Mary's ACW & Men's Club

8 pm Lions Carnival Bingo Bingo at The Corner Brook Lions Club, Wellington Street. All paper booklets. Assorted sizes and prices. Doors open at 7:00pm. Bingo starts at 8:00pm. Come along and enjoy the fun! Sponsored by the Corner Brook Lions Club.
