Armed Robbery in St. John's

RNC received a complaint of an Armed Robbery at Hamilton Convenience, 69 Hamilton Ave, St John’s around 11:45 AM yesterday.

Officers located and arrested the suspect, a 36 year old female resident of St. John’s, a short distance from the location of the incident.

The weapon and a quantity of money and cigarettes were recovered.

The suspect has been charged with Armed Robbery and Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public.

She was held at the St John’s Lock Up to appear at Provincial Court this morning.
