Freezing Rain Closes Schools Again #nlwx

There are freezing rain warning in effect for Avalon Peninsula North and St. John's and vicinity.

Late this morning the snow will transition to an extended period of freezing rain. 5 to 10 mm of freezing rain is possible today.

For Channel-Port aux Basques and vicinity winds are expected to gust to 120 km/h.

There are also blowing snow advisories across the southwestern coast of Newfoundland.

Several schools are also closed again today.
