Another Storm on the Way

An area of low pressure will pass just south of Newfoundland on Tuesday.

Snow will begin along the south coast overnight on Monday.

There is the potential for significant snowfall over parts of southern and eastern Newfoundland, including the Avalon.

We will also see strong wind with gusts up to 100 km/h in areas, particularly in the Channel-Port aux Basques region.

Snow will continue in some areas until Wednesday Night.

It is worth noting that this low will pass south of the Island so a slight southerly track would greatly diminish snowfall amountsA
