Winter Storm Set to Smash Newfoundland #nlwx

An area of low pressure will sweep across the southern coast of Newfoundland throughout the day on Monday.

As it does so, many portions of Newfoundland will receive snowfall. In some areas snowfall amounts may be significant.

The heaviest snow is likely over central Newfoundland. Western and Eastern Newfoundland will also receive snow. The Great Northern Peninsula will escape heavy snow.

Strong wind will also be an issue across the Island. This will cause reduced visibility and blowing snow.
