Scotiabank to Close Burin Branch

The town of Burin will be loosing a staple that has been in the town since 1910.

Scotiabank has said that they will be closing the branch in June.

Mayor Kevin Lundrigan said that the move is unwarranted and will cause undue hardship to residents and businesses.

The Town of Burin is seeking a meeting with representatives of Scotiabank.
