More Snow for Newfoundland #nlwx

Residents of Southern, Central, and Western Newfoundland are waking up to snow on Friday morning.

A quick-moving area of low pressure that was over the Maritimes on Thursday evening tracked across the western portion of the province.

Heavy snow fell in many areas snow accumulations are generally expected to be anywhere from 10 to 15 cm. Locally higher amounts are possible before it tapers to flurries later this afternoon.
