20 Days of No New COVID-19 Cases


There are zero new cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador today.


Of these cases, 1 is in hospital. 255 have recovered. To date, there have been three deaths. A total of 11,617 people have been tested.


It has been 20 days without any cases.


Dr. Fitzgerald says that a second wave is likely, we need to remain vigilant.

When we enter Alert Level Three, there will be standards for entering hair salons/barber shops, spa and esthetic services (manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing, make-up, etc.), tattooing and piercing services, and tanning salons.


Post signage reminding clients and staff to stay two metres apart from others, leave the premises if they are symptomatic, practice proper hygiene (wash hands, cover coughs and sneezes), and clients should be screened prior to sitting for appointments by asking if they are symptomatic. No services should be performed on symptomatic clients.
