16 year old charged after stabbing at Grenfell Campus

The RNC arrested a 16-year old male in Corner Brook after a stabbing at Grenfell Campus on Thursday.

Officers were called in relation to a report of a disturbance. When officers arrived they located a male at Grenfell Campus who had sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The injured male was transported to the hospital to seek medical assistance.

The youth has been charged with aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Police have determined the incident was an isolated event.

The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
