15 new cases of COVID-19 in the province


There are 15 new cases of COVID-19 in the province bringing the total to 135 cases. All new cases are in the Eastern Health region.

There are 7 people in hospital and 2 are in ICU. 4 have recovered.

Dr. Fitzgerald says that self-quarantine means do not leave your property.

Checkpoints are set up between Quebec and Labrador to prevent non-essential travel.


Minister Haggie says only one member of a family should be going to the store. The virus only moves when people move. Make a bubble for you and your family and stay in that bubble. Do not burst anyone else's bubble.

Residents are reminded to stay six feet (2 metres) apart. Wash your hands often with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
