11 New Cases of COVID-19


There are 11 new cases of COVID-19. Some of these cases are students at Mount Pearl High School.


There are 27 active cases. 82,530 people have been tested.


If there is an active case in your home, the person needs to isolate away from everyone else. Dr. Janice Fitzgerald says that there are hundreds of people in isolation.


All group and team sports in the St. John's area are suspended. In-person gatherings such as bands are suspended.


There is community spread in the St. John's area. There are three separate clusters in the Eastern Health Region that have no known source as of now.


As of today, long-term care residents may only have two visitors in the St. John's metro area.


Use the COVID-19 assessment tool even for mild symptoms.


Premier Furey, Minister of Health and Community Services John Haggie, and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Janice Fitzgerald attended today's briefing.
