10 new COVID-19 cases reported

There was a COVID-19 briefing today with Minister Haggie and Doctor Fitzgerald.

There are 10 news cases today. Three of the cases are in Central Health, two are in Eastern Health, one is in Western Health, and four are in the Labrador-Grenfell Health region.

Some of the new cases in the Eastern Health region have been linked to indoor gatherings.

One person is in hospital.

We could have moved to step three as early as today but that won't happen due to 80 percent of people are not being fully vaccinated and due to epidemiology.
