10 new cases of COVID-19


Newfoundland and Labrador has ten new confirmed cases of COVID-19. There are two cases in Eastern Health, two cases in the Central Health region and six cases in the Western Health region.


Four cases are related to travel in Canada and six are close contacts of previous cases.


There is one new presumptive positive case in the Western Health region.


One person is in hospital due to COVID-19.


Public Health is asking passengers who travelled on Provincial Airlines Flight PB902 that departed Wabush and arrived in Deer Lake on Sunday, May 9 to arrange COVID-19 testing.

139,356 people have been tested.


There are 93 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.
