1 New Case of COVID-19


There is one new case of COVID-19 in the province today. This new case is located in the Eastern Health region.


The new case is a male and is travel related. The man returned to the province after working in Nunavut.


Premier Andrew Furey said today that the province is working with the federal government and the military to coordinate vaccine distribution.


Dr. Janice Fitzgerald stressed that people need to limit their gatherings to 20 people over the holidays.


There are currently 30 active cases.


Passengers on Air Canada Flight 696 from Toronto to St. John’s arriving Tuesday, November 24, are asked to contact 811 to arrange for testing.
